Questions people ask
Are you a Registered Massage Therapist?
No. Katka is a Massage Practitioner with a 2,200-hour massage diploma from Mount Royal University, and training in Ayurveda, yoga and aromatherapy. Treatments focus on relaxation and well-being. Because she isn't registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, sessions can't be billed to extended health insurance.
What happens at a first visit?
Arrive about ten minutes early to fill in a short form about your health and preferences. You'll talk through what you'd like from the session before you begin.
Can I move or cancel a booking?
A deposit secures your time. Cancel or move up to 24 hours ahead at no charge. Use the link in your confirmation email.
Is massage safe during pregnancy?
Prenatal sessions use side-lying positions and pregnancy-safe oils. Mention your due date when you book, and check with your midwife or doctor if you have any concerns.
Do gift certificates expire?
Dollar-value certificates don't expire, and they can be used for any treatment or apothecary order. A certificate for one specific treatment shows its expiry date, if it has one.
